Biography
I grew up as a second-generation Asian American, watching the struggles and sacrifices my parents made as immigrants from Vietnam. They came to the U.S. with nothing but a strong work ethic to lay down a foundation for my future. Witnessing this left a lasting impression on me and filled me with a deep sense of responsibility. I wanted to continue what they started and provide them with a better life.As an alumnus of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, I was the first in my family to earn an Associate degree, followed by a Bachelor¡¯s, and finally a Master¡¯s degree. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ was the foundation for my academic journey and accomplishments. Reflecting on the support and opportunities I received, my goal now as a recruiter is to help students take their first steps on their academic journey and provide them with guidance.

Biography
¡°Anything is possible when you keep it in your mind and work hard towards it.¡± Those were the words of my grandmother. She knew I had a dream that no one else in the family possessed. I am a first-generation student who attended and graduated from college in my family. I always knew education was the pathway to success; therefore, I decided at an early age to earn a college degree. It¡¯s a great pleasure for me to be able to guide and assist students in the journey of pursuing their college dreams at Montgomery College. As an MC alumnus, I aim to introduce the students to the college community, such as faculty members, supporting staff members, and student life. My greatest joy is to see students celebrate their education accomplishments here at MC, the best community college in Maryland, and to move forward to a four-year college or start their career. You can find me at the Rockville Campus, where my door will always be open for students needing assistance.HomeTown: Silver Spring/ Born in the Dominican Republic

Biography
I know firsthand that Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is a resource for the family. As a parent with young children, I was grateful for the Youth Programs' wide variety of camps and classes for my girls to be involved in during the summer. In high school, they enrolled in Test Prep when they were in the college selection process. Our oldest is an MC alum and cried to go back to MC once she transferred. And our third is a current student. I even did the prerequisites I needed for my Master's program at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ! We had wonderful experiences with caring instructors who prepared us for what came next. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ can be that resource for your family too.Hometown: Philadelphia PA
